Every conversation gives you insight.
People don’t visit your website to find a page. They want to know something, arrange something or get something done. ai they ask in their own words and get an answer straight from your own content, with the source underneath so they can check it.
You stay in control. You decide which content the AI uses, how it behaves and when a person needs to step in.
But that’s only the beginning.
You see which questions visitors ask, what they’re trying to achieve, where information is missing and which answers could be better. So you don’t just learn where people click, but what they actually need.

For your visitors: answers, not result lists
- One answer from your own content. Visitors ask a question in their own words and get one clear answer, built only from the sources you choose.
- Always with the source. The source is shown under every answer, so visitors can check it themselves.
- Honest when it doesn’t know. If the answer isn’t in your content, vragen.ai says so and points the way, for example to your contact page.
- Where you want it. Place vragen.ai on a page with the Vragen.ai block, or site-wide as a page, pop-up or popover.
- A smarter WordPress search. Optionally replace the built-in search with semantic search: results that match what people mean, not just the words they type.
- Related content. Show posts that are related in meaning, without tagging or linking them by hand.
- Accessible. The vragen.ai widget is built to WCAG 2.1 level AA.
For you: insight into what your visitors need

- Every question, word for word. Read back each question with its exact wording and context.
- Themes at a glance. The Analysis groups all questions into themes, so you see right away what most questions are about.
- Feedback over time. See how visitors rate the answers, and spot peaks and changes.
- Evaluation scores. Each theme is scored on reliability, relevance and source relevance, so you know which answers need attention.
- Gaps in your content. Questions without a good answer show you what to write, fix or clarify next.
For your WordPress site: set up once, then it runs
- Always up to date. When you publish, update, trash or delete a post, the plugin updates vragen.ai straight away. No exports, no waiting for a crawl.
- No developer needed. Install the plugin, enter your customer name and API token, choose your post types and run a bulk sync once.

Safe and under your control
ai is built by SWIS, a digital agency in Leiden, the Netherlands. SWIS is certified to ISO 27001, NEN 7510 and ISO 9001.
- Your data is stored in the Netherlands.
- Conversations are never used to train AI models.
- You choose the language model. The whole chain can run in the Netherlands.

External services

ai/api/v1 by default (the root domain can be changed with the VRAGENAI_API_DOMAIN constant).
When you publish, update, trash or delete content of an enabled post type and when you run a bulk synchronisation the plugin sends the following to that endpoint:
- the post title, public URL, rendered content, supported ACF field content and any additional content fragments supplied through filters;
- metadata: author display name, post type, post format, language(s), publish/modified dates, taxonomy terms and the featured-image URL;
- the URLs and MIME types of attached PDF files, so vragen.ai can fetch and extract their text server-side (the file contents themselves are not uploaded by the plugin);
- your configured customer name and API token (sent as a Bearer authorization header).
In addition, while the settings screen is open the plugin contacts the API at most once per hour to verify the connection.
No data is sent until you enter a customer name and API token. The plugin makes no other external requests.
