Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records Scheduled Slides for Soliloquy version 1.0 as active, updated 13y ago and tested up to WordPress 3.5.
Overview
About this plugin
Important! This plugin is not a slider in and of itself. It is only an addon to the Solilquy slider which is available in the WordPress Repo as a lite version or you can get the affordable PRO version here.
Scheduled Slides will add a begin and expiration date to each slide you add within Solilquy. This gives you the ability to add slides that you don’t want to display just yet. It also lets you set an expiration date for those time sensitive slides.

“Tested up to” is directory metadata supplied by the plugin author. WP PlugIndex does not turn an older declaration into a claim that the plugin is incompatible.
