About this plugin
Shoppers trust other shoppers. Review Next for WooCommerce replaces the plain WooCommerce review tab with a review experience that shows real customers, real photos and real answers — and gives buyers a reason to leave a review.
Who it is for
- Small and growing WooCommerce stores whose product pages need more social proof.
- Stores that sell things people want to see: clothing, beauty, home, electronics, handmade goods.
- Agencies that want one review plugin that is easy to set up for every client.
Collect better reviews
- Photo and video reviews — customers add photos (JPG, PNG, GIF) and an MP4 or WebM video to their review.
- Star rating and review title — a clean form that works on any WooCommerce theme.
- Who can review — anyone logged in, or only customers with completed orders.
- Review coupons — reward a verified buyer with a unique WooCommerce coupon (percent or fixed, with expiry, minimum spend and category limits). Coupons only go to customers who actually bought the product.
Show reviews that sell
- Rating summary — average score and a 5-to-1 star breakdown above the reviews.
- Verified Purchase badge — added automatically when the reviewer bought the product.
- Sorting — Most Recent, Highest or Lowest Rating, Most Voted, or With Images/Videos.
- Helpful votes — shoppers upvote the reviews that helped them.
- Lightbox — photos open full size in a built-in lightbox.
- Your colours — set backgrounds, borders, buttons, links and rating icons to match your brand; star or heart rating icons.
Answer questions before they become objections
- Product Q&A tab — customers ask questions on the product page and your answers stay visible for the next shopper.
- Store answers — reply to questions right on the product page while logged in as an admin.
Emails that arrive
- Coupon email to the customer when a reward is earned.
- Review approved email to the customer when you approve their review.
- Built-in SMTP settings so plugin emails reach the inbox.
Honest by design
- Coupons never depend on the star rating, and are given only for verified purchases — in line with the FTC and EU rules on incentivised reviews.
- Reviews and questions are stored in your own WordPress database. No external service, no account to create.
- All scripts and styles are bundled with the plugin; nothing loads from third-party CDNs.
Review Next Pro
Review Next Pro is a paid add-on that runs on top of this plugin and adds:
- Analytics dashboard — review totals, rating trends and a per-product review heatmap in wp-admin.
- Reviewer location — show the reviewer’s city and country on each review card (opt-in).
- Product views counter — “people viewed this product in the last 30 days” social proof on product pages.
- AJAX pagination — a “Load More Reviews” button instead of printing every review at once.
