Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →

WP PlugIndex currently records Odisal Header for Elementor version 1.0.0 as active, updated 19d ago and tested up to WordPress 7.1.

Overview

About this plugin

Odisal Header builds a complete site header in one Elementor widget. Pick a layout, choose your menu, add a button or two, and it works on every screen size without a separate mobile header.

The menu decides for itself when to become a hamburger. Instead of switching at a fixed screen width, the header checks whether everything fits. A short menu stays open on a tablet; a long one folds away sooner.

You can also switch on tablets and phones, on phones only, always, or never.

Layouts

  • Logo left, menu and buttons right
  • Logo and menu left, buttons right
  • Logo left, menu centred, buttons right
  • Logo centred, menu split either side
  • Menu left, logo centred, buttons right
  • Menu and buttons left, logo right
  • Logo on top, menu and buttons underneath

When the hamburger shows, choose where the logo and the hamburger sit.

Buttons in the header

  • Links such as Book now or Call us, styled as filled, outlined, text or icon only
  • Log in, which changes to My account when the visitor is logged in
  • Basket with a live item count (needs WooCommerce)
  • Open a Booksy booking pop-up, or click another element on the page
  • When the hamburger shows, keep each button in the bar, move it into the menu panel, show it in both, or hide it

Menu panel

  • Slides in from either side, drops down under the bar, or fills the screen
  • Its own logo, and a short note under the menu
  • Submenus that open on hover or click, with arrows
  • Closes with the close button, with Escape, by tapping outside, or when a link is tapped

Sticky header

  • Stays at the top, or hides while scrolling down and returns when scrolling up
  • A different style once the page has scrolled, such as a solid background or a glass blur
  • Can sit on top of the first section, for a header over a hero image
  • Highlights the menu item for the section in view on one-page sites

Built to be accessible

Real buttons, focus that stays inside the open menu, ARIA states for screen readers, and motion that respects Reduce Motion.

Every colour, size, spacing and font can be changed in Elementor’s Style tab. Previews for the open menu and the scrolled state are available in the editor.

External services

This plugin can connect to Booksy, an online booking service, so a header button can open a business’s Booksy booking pop-up.

It is only used when a site owner adds a button set to “Open the Booksy booking pop-up” and pastes their Booksy widget code or business ID. Nothing is loaded from Booksy otherwise.

com, which sends the visitor’s IP address and browser details to Booksy, as any web request does. com.
