Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records Menu Override version 0.4.1 as active, updated 12y ago and tested up to WordPress 3.9.
Overview
About this plugin
On medium to large sites there is often a need to have a “global navigation” menu that exists at the top of every page of the site and then have section level navigation menus on various pages of the site. Not many themes allow you to do this so I created this plugin to fix that.
