Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records Manny Wenas Redirect Manager version 1.0.3 as active, updated 4d ago and tested up to WordPress 7.1.
Overview
About this plugin
Inspired by modularity, Manny Wenas introduces Redirect Manager: a focused WordPress plugin built around the Manny Wenas philosophy of no bloat.
Use it as a standalone redirect manager or alongside Manny Wenas SEO. Choose the tools you need, and keep your setup simple.
Manny Wenas Redirect Manager helps you maintain old links when article URLs change. It works on its own. If Manny Wenas SEO is active, the Redirects, 404 Monitor, and Import screens appear under the Manny Wenas SEO menu.
Features:
Create exact or trailing-wildcard 301 and 302 redirects.
See redirect hit counts and warnings about redirect chains.
Review a bounded 404 log and turn a missing URL into a redirect.
Get a prompt to add a redirect after changing a post or page slug.
Import compatible CSV redirect lists. Unsupported regex and query-string rules are skipped.
The plugin stores redirects and 404 records in your WordPress database. Uninstalling the plugin deletes these records.
What it does not do
It does not output SEO metadata or create sitemaps.
It does not use regex or query-string matching. Redirects match the URL path only, either exactly or with a trailing wildcard.
It does not automatically redirect all missing pages to the homepage. Only redirects you create or import are applied.
It does not prevent loops between two or more different wildcard redirects that send visitors back and forth. The Redirects list flags these as “Limit reached; possible loop” so you can correct them.

“Tested up to” is directory metadata supplied by the plugin author. WP PlugIndex does not turn an older declaration into a claim that the plugin is incompatible.
