Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →

WP PlugIndex currently records MammothWP Acceptance Logs version 1.0.0 as active, updated 1d ago and tested up to WordPress 7.1.

Overview

About this plugin

MammothWP Acceptance Logs asks logged-in users in the roles you choose to accept your Terms & Conditions, and keeps a verifiable record of who accepted which version, and when.

  • Versioned archive. Every published version is stored in full and never deleted, so each acceptance can be tied to the exact text shown.
  • Tamper-evident log. Each record is signed twice (immutable core, erasable context) and chained to the previous one. A verifier on the log screen flags altered rows.
  • Role-scoped prompt. A popup with “skip for now” (not recorded) and a persistent admin notice until the user accepts.
  • Receipts. An acceptance confirmation e-mailed to the user, with a PDF copy of what was accepted attached when the bundled PDF library is present.
  • GDPR tooling. Personal-data exporter and eraser, retention-based anonymisation, and suggested privacy policy text.
  • Manage it your way. Admin screens, a REST API ( mmwp/v1 ), WP-CLI ( wp mmwp terms ) and the WordPress Abilities API (read-only list-acceptances and more).
  • A public block that shows the current terms, effective date and history.

This is not a consent plugin

Recording acceptance of terms is an access-control and contractual-compliance mechanism (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f)), not consent under Art. 6(1)(a).

Acceptance is therefore not withdrawable and records are not deleted on request; see the FAQ.

Privacy and external services

The plugin makes no outbound requests, loads no remote scripts, fonts or images, and sends no telemetry. It never phones home. com.

The support request includes a site report only if the administrator ticks the box after previewing the exact text. Nothing is ever sent automatically.

“Tested up to” is directory metadata supplied by the plugin author. WP PlugIndex does not turn an older declaration into a claim that the plugin is incompatible.
