Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →

WP PlugIndex currently records LSX Mega Menus version 2.0.1 as active, updated 3y ago and tested up to WordPress 6.3.

Before you add your menu, you need to create your mega menu panels.

  • Go to the site editor.

  • Create a new template part, selecting the General option.
  • The new template part must have the term Mega Menu in the name, in order to be selectable in the nav menu.
  • Now add columns, links, images etc to the template part.
  • Save when complete.

Add your menu to the navigation

  • Edit your core/navigation block, and add a navigation link to it.
  • Click on the navigation link and select the transform button from the toolbar.
  • Select the LSX Mega Menu option from the drop down.
