About this plugin
Free website traffic reports for local service businesses.
com/free-report
Do you know how much of your WordPress website traffic comes from outside the area your business serves?
LocalLeadsFilter helps plumbing, HVAC, and other local service businesses understand where their website visitors are coming from. Its free reporting service records visits classified as local, borderline, or remote relative to a configured service area and emails weekly and monthly summaries.
Free reporting does not expire. You can use the reporting service without subscribing to paid visitor protection. Reporting mode does not block website visitors or change how they contact you.
What your reports show
- Recorded local, borderline, and remote visits.
- Weekly and monthly website-activity totals.
- Estimated out-of-area visit counts and percentages, based on the recorded classifications.
- Illustrative estimates of potential inquiry-handling costs using stated assumptions, not measured or guaranteed losses.
Visitor-location estimates are not perfectly accurate. LocalLeadsFilter’s traffic and cost estimates are informational and should not be interpreted as confirmed inquiries, actual costs, or guaranteed savings.
Optional paid protection
If you later decide to reduce inquiries from visitors outside your service area, the separately offered LocalLeadsFilter hosted service can apply ZIP-code confirmation and protect website contact options based on your configured service area. Paid service includes a 14-day trial where offered; pricing and availability are shown on the LocalLeadsFilter website. Paid protection is not required to continue receiving free reporting.
How to get started
- Register for free WordPress reporting at https://localleadsfilter.com/free-report and configure your website and service area.
- Install and activate the LocalLeadsFilter plugin in WordPress.
- The plugin loads the LocalLeadsFilter client script on public-facing WordPress pages and posts. Reports are delivered by email when the account and domain are configured and the script is active.
The plugin does not add a WordPress admin settings screen. Your account and service-area settings are managed through LocalLeadsFilter. Installing the plugin alone does not create an account, activate reporting, or begin a paid trial.
External service and data handling
This plugin integrates with the external hosted LocalLeadsFilter service; it is not a standalone analytics processor, geographic database, or on-site filtering engine. js. com/ to classify traffic relative to a configured service area, collect reporting activity, and, when paid protection is enabled, apply ZIP-code checks and record related events.
External requests may involve visitor IP addresses, network-derived location data, page paths, submitted ZIP codes when applicable, and service-area classification or filtering events. These events are processed by the external service, not solely on the WordPress server. Website operators should review the service’s policies and update their own privacy notices as appropriate.
