About this plugin
Lift External Link Notice adds a configurable leaving-site notice for external links. It is designed for websites that need a clear outbound-link disclosure, including financial institutions, healthcare organizations, associations, and other compliance-sensitive sites.
The plugin does not require Elementor, Elementor Pro, popup builders, custom link classes, React, or build tooling. Once activated, it watches normal frontend links, ignores same-domain links, skips whitelisted domains or URLs, and shows a modal notice before the visitor continues to an external site.

Intercepts normal external link clicks on the frontend.
Optional whitelist for trusted domains or full URLs.
Optional whitelist for subdomains beneath the configured site host.
Continue and cancel button labels can be edited.
Empty button labels hide that button.
Overlay, modal, text, title, button, and hover colors.
Font family selector.
Pixel-based style controls for modal width, spacing, typography, padding, gaps, and border radius.
Global responsive controls with optional desktop, tablet, and mobile overrides.
Live desktop, tablet, and mobile preview in the WordPress admin.
Overlay click and Escape-key closing options.
No visitor tracking and no external services.
Master enable/disable toggle for turning the notice on or off without deactivating the plugin.
