Every business has a history worth telling. Historification turns it into the short videos your customers actually watch.
Give it one topic from the story of your company, your industry or your region. Historification writes the article, creates a 10-image carousel and produces a narrated vertical video in your brand’s style. It then publishes them to YouTube, Instagram and Facebook on your schedule.
It is built for business owners and marketing teams who want consistent, distinctive content without filming, editing or a production team. Real stories give your brand something to say beyond the next offer, and they give people a reason to watch to the end.

How it works
- Tell it about your business. Setup reads your website, or a short description, and drafts your profile, voice and audience for you to edit.
- Choose your look. Compare three image styles and fine-tune your favourite, then pick a narrator.
- Preview your style. See real images made for your business before you choose a plan.
- Create and publish. Generate a batch of ideas, turn them into articles, carousels and videos, and set how often they go out.
You stay in control
- Nothing is published during setup.
- Every article, image and caption can be reviewed and edited before it goes out.
- You set your own ground rules, such as topics to avoid or spelling to use.
- Your articles and media live in your own WordPress site, so your content stays yours.
Plans
- Free: up to 5 articles a month. No card needed.
- Starter (£29/month): one fully produced article a day.
- Pro (£79/month): two fully produced articles a day, with the highest limits.
What you need to know
Historification relies on a hosted service, so a Historification account is required. Setup creates a free one for you. Your site details and the content you choose to process are sent to that service, which uses AI to generate your content; see “External services” below for exactly what is sent and when.
External services
Historification is a client for a hosted backend and relies on the third-party services below. Data is sent only when you take the matching action (generate content, register, subscribe, connect an account, publish). net/terms).

What it is: the hosted service that does the AI generation, media assembly, billing and publishing.
Data sent, and when:
* When you generate content: the article title and body you choose to process, plus your topic profile (niche, voice, brand, audience) and your site domain.
* When you register or subscribe: your name, email address, business name, country and IP address.
* When you connect a social account: the OAuth authorization completes on the backend and the resulting access tokens are stored there — never in WordPress.
* Ongoing: article/publish counts, used to enforce your plan limits.

What it is: our payment processor. Paid plans are billed through Stripe.
Data sent, and when: when you upgrade to a paid plan or open “Manage billing”, the plugin redirects your browser to Stripe’s secure hosted checkout / billing portal to enter and manage your card. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never pass through the plugin or the Historification backend.

AI, media hosting and social publishing (used by the backend on your behalf)
To produce and deliver your content, the backend in turn uses OpenAI (text, image and voice generation), Google Cloud Storage (hosting generated images and video), and the social networks you connect (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook) when you publish to them. net/privacy
