Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →

WP PlugIndex currently records Project Showcase – Case Studies, Project Portfolio & Project Grid version 3.0.5 as active, updated 39m ago and tested up to WordPress 7.1.

Overview

About this plugin

GS Projects turns your finished work into case studies that win new clients. Add each project once with its image, description, client, dates, duration, project value and a link to the live result, then display your projects anywhere as a grid, slider, horizontal card or list. Pick a design in the shortcode builder, see it in the live preview, and paste one shortcode or block.

Each project gets its own page or popup, so visitors can read the full story without leaving your projects page.

How it works

  • Go to GS Projects > Add New Project. Add the title, description and featured image, then fill in the client, dates, value and project URL, and choose a category.
  • Go to GS Projects > Shortcode, create a shortcode and pick a view and design. The live preview updates as you change settings.
  • Copy the shortcode, for example [gsprojects id=1], into any page or post, or use the GS Projects block or widget in your page builder.

Each shortcode has three tabs:

  • General: view, design, link type (popup or single page), image size and which details to show.
  • Style: columns per device and typography for titles, taglines and details.
  • Query: how many projects to show, sorting, and which categories and tags to include or exclude.
