Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →

WP PlugIndex currently records Contact Form by gripspace version 0.11.6 as active, updated 20d ago and tested up to WordPress 7.1.

Overview

About this plugin

Grip Contact Form lets you build powerful, no-code contact and inquiry forms and place them anywhere on your site. When you connect the external service grip space, you can also identify the companies that visit your site by IP address and view built-in access analytics (site, organization, prefecture and industry reports) right inside the WordPress admin.

  • Build and place high-functionality contact forms without writing code.
  • Add a booking calendar to a form: visitors pick a date and time, and the slot closes once it is taken.
  • Optionally connect your own Zoom or Google account so a meeting is created and the booking lands on your calendar.
  • Connect grip space to identify visiting companies by IP address.
  • View access reports (site access, organization access, prefecture and industry breakdowns) in the WordPress admin.
  • Access measurement is off by default. When you turn it on, a measurement tag is inserted via wp_head — no theme editing required.
  • You choose whether submission and access data is sent to grip space.

Site owners should appropriately describe the handling of visitor and form-submitter personal data (including entrustment to the services below) in their own privacy policy.

Developed and maintained by WapLab — WordPress development, theme coding and plugin development.

External services

This plugin relies on the following third-party/external services. No visitor data is sent unless the relevant feature is used.

grip space (analytics and account service)

grip space is the service this plugin connects to for account creation, visiting-company identification and access analytics. K. space/api/v1.

  • On sign-up / connect (when you register or link an account from the admin): the company name, email address, phone number you enter, and your site URL are sent to grip space to create or link the account.
  • When access measurement is enabled (off by default): the inserted measurement tag sends visitor access data (page views, referrer, user agent, IP-derived company/region) to grip space, where it is stored and shown in the reports. When measurement is off, no tag is inserted and no data is sent.
  • Report screens: the admin fetches your own aggregated report data from grip space using a connection token.
  • Form submissions (connected forms only): you choose per install whether submission data is forwarded to grip space or stored only within WordPress.
  • Booking calendar — online meetings (only when you connect Zoom or Google in the plugin settings and turn the option on for a form): grip space holds the OAuth connection on your behalf and creates the meeting for you. Starting the connection sends you to grip space and on to Zoom or Google to authorize; when a visitor books a slot, the date and time, the meeting title and the invitee email addresses (the visitor’s and those of the members assigned to the form) are sent to grip space, which calls Zoom or Google. Cancelling a booking removes the meeting the same way. With the option off, nothing is sent and the booking stays inside WordPress.
  • Booking calendar — Japanese public holidays (only while connected; can be turned off in the settings): the plugin asks grip space for the current public-holiday list so that holidays can be excluded from bookable dates. No visitor data is sent. A bundled list is used when this is off or unavailable.

Zoom / Google Calendar and Google Meet

Reached only through grip space, and only when you connect one of them in the plugin settings and switch the online-meeting option on for a booking field. The plugin itself stores no Zoom or Google credentials. What reaches them is the meeting you asked for: its date, time, length, title and the invitee email addresses.

Neither service is contacted while the option is off.
