Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records GenAI Ranker – AI Search Visibility & GEO version 1.5.0 as active, updated 3mo ago and tested up to WordPress 7.0.
Overview
About this plugin
Buyers increasingly ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok and Google AI Overviews for recommendations instead of searching. GenAI Ranker is a Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) plugin that helps your site get named and recommended by AI.
Free, in this plugin:
Free AI-search visibility score — one click shows how AI portrays your site, with quick wins.
Serve llms.txt — a machine-readable summary AI crawlers use to understand your brand.
Inject JSON-LD structured data into every page so AI engines parse your facts correctly.
Apply recommended fixes surfaced right inside wp-admin.
With a connected GenAI Ranker account (free to start):
Track your visibility across all 6 AI engines, scored 0–100, monitored daily.
AI traffic & revenue attribution — see the real visits and revenue ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot and Claude send your site (the plugin adds the tracking automatically).
Competitor analysis — who AI recommends instead of you, and why.
Category benchmark — how your AI-search visibility compares to your industry.
Daily monitoring & alerts, forecasts, and full shareable white-label reports.
One-click fixes pushed back to your site.
This is GEO — Generative Engine Optimization, also called Answer Engine Optimization (AEO): the new SEO for AI assistants. As buyers shift from Google to ChatGPT and AI Overviews, GenAI Ranker makes sure your brand is the one AI recommends.
