DevnDespro SafeDelete adds a reference check to the normal WordPress Trash workflow. Before a page is moved to Trash, it looks for direct links from other posts and pages and displays the results in a review window. You can inspect the references, continue with the Trash action, or cancel.
No separate scanning workflow is needed for everyday page deletion.
How SafeDelete works
- Choose Trash for a WordPress page, or select pages for a bulk Move to Trash action.
- SafeDelete checks for direct permalink references in WordPress posts and pages.
- Review the results, open referencing content if needed, and confirm or cancel.

What SafeDelete checks
SafeDelete Free checks for direct permalink matches in WordPress post and page content. It is a pre-deletion reference check, not a site-wide broken-link crawler.
A scan with no matches does not guarantee that a page has no dependencies. Links in menus, page-builder data, custom fields, external websites, or other storage locations may not be detected by the Free scan.
