Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records Deindicizzazione Automatica Articoli version 2.6.0 as active, updated 6h ago and tested up to WordPress 7.1.
Overview
About this plugin
Deindicizzazione Automatica Articoli keeps search engines focused on your fresh content. Posts in the categories you choose, and any custom post type filtered by its own taxonomy, are set to noindex after X days and, optionally, archived (moved to draft or private) after Y days.
The admin interface is in Italian.
Features
Multiple categories, subcategories included
Custom post types: for each content type choose a taxonomy and its terms, or process all content of that type
Noindex after X days, with “noindex, follow” by default (optional nofollow)
Works with Rank Math, Yoast SEO, or WordPress core robots when no SEO plugin is active
Archive mode: change post status to draft or private after Y days
Each post is processed once: no repeated emails, accurate counters
Email notifications with placeholders ( {post_titles}, {category}, {days} ), sent only when there is something new
Activity log stored in the database (last 200 runs), downloadable from the admin
Dashboard widget for administrators with stats and next scheduled run
Author filter: include or exclude specific authors
Dry-run mode to test the configuration without changing posts
Configurable schedule: hourly, daily or weekly
Optional “scaduto” (expired) tag on old posts
Sitemap cache refresh for Rank Math and Yoast SEO
Large sites friendly: posts are processed in batches
Preview of the next run and a “Run now” button
Exclude single posts from the editor sidebar box
Restore a post: original robots settings back, post republished if archived

icrea_deindex_batch_size – posts processed per run for each action (default 200)
icrea_deindex_query_args – filter the WP_Query arguments (one query per post type, passed as 4th argument)
icrea_deindex_terms_limit – terms listed per taxonomy in the settings (default 1000)
icrea_deindex_log_limit – number of log entries kept (default 200)
icrea_deindex_after_run – action fired after each run with a summary
icrea_deindex_post_restored – action fired after a post is restored
icrea_deindex_capability – capability required to manage the plugin (default manage_options )
