Repository metrics are context, not quality scores. Active installations measure adoption and can strongly reflect a plugin’s age and historical popularity. Ratings, recent updates and “Tested up to” metadata also do not guarantee modern code, error-free operation, security, feature completeness or suitability for a particular site. Why active installs don’t tell the whole story →
WP PlugIndex currently records DA Media CPT Show Custom Fields version 1.1.0 as active, updated 5y ago and tested up to WordPress 5.5.
Overview
About this plugin
DA Media CPT Show Custom Fields allows a WordPress site administrator to hide or show Custom Fields on the associated edit page for each Custom Post Type existing on your WordPress website. This will be particularly useful for developers to debug their plugin without needing to enable the “custom-fields” capability within the CPT instantiation within their plugin code.
For each Custom Post Type, choosing “Show” will always show them, “Hide” will always hide them and “Default” hides or shows the custom fields according to the original configuration of the Custom Post Type.

“Tested up to” is directory metadata supplied by the plugin author. WP PlugIndex does not turn an older declaration into a claim that the plugin is incompatible.
