About this plugin
Consenta is a cookie consent service for websites. This is the official WordPress plugin. js and Google Tag Manager, which is the order Google Consent Mode v2 requires.
The plugin does one thing:
- You enter the API key from your Consenta dashboard under Settings > Consenta.
- The plugin prints <script src="https://cdn.consenta.se/snippet.js?key=YOUR-KEY"></script> in the head of every public page.

External service
This plugin relies on Consenta, a third party service operated by Rolling Thunder Sweden AB, Sweden. A Consenta account is required. se/register (a free plan is available).
key=YOUR-KEY in the visitor’s browser. se, and signals the choice to Google tags through Consent Mode v2. Consenta processes the visitor’s consent choice, the page address and the API key that identifies your site.
Only the visitor’s browser communicates with Consenta. The WordPress server itself never contacts Consenta, and the plugin does not collect or send any data from your WordPress installation.
