You will need an active ClickCease subscription to use this WordPress plugin.
Lead Shield form validation. Validate leads from Gravity Forms, WPForms and Contact Form 7. Choose the forms to protect in your ClickCease dashboard; verdicts are added to Gravity Forms and WPForms entries and shown in the dashboard for all three.
External services
The plugin uses services provided by CHEQ, the company behind ClickCease ( Terms of Service, Privacy Policy ):
- Bot detection: when Bot Zapping is active, each visitor page load sends the visitor’s IP address, page URL, browser headers and the CHEQ cookie, to decide whether to block the visit.
- CHEQ tag and ClickCease tracking: scripts loaded in the visitor’s browser to detect invalid traffic and click fraud. ClickCease tracking can be turned off in the plugin settings.
- Account and diagnostics: your ClickCease keys are verified, and the plugin’s status, version, site domain and logs (including visitor IP addresses) are sent to support your installation.
- Lead Shield: on sites connected to a ClickCease 2.0 account with Lead Shield, Gravity Forms, WPForms and Contact Form 7 submissions (email address, phone number, form identifiers and the ClickCease visit identifier) and the list of form names are sent to CHEQ. Only the forms you choose in the dashboard are validated; other submissions are discarded.
The plugin settings page uses Mixpanel for usage analytics, linked to your ClickCease client ID ( Terms of Use, Privacy Policy ).
