About this plugin
AbleWidget adds a reading-personalisation toolbar to every page of your WordPress site. Visitors choose what works for them, and their choices are saved in their own browser. There are twelve reading tools:

No code required. Install the plugin, tick “Enable widget” in Settings → AbleWidget, and the toolbar appears on your site. Your licence is verified automatically by domain, so there is no API key to copy and paste.

Subscription required
An active AbleWidget subscription is required for the toolbar to display. The plugin is free to install but will not function without a licence.

Privacy
com. Each time it loads, it checks with AbleWidget’s server that your site’s domain is licensed. That request contains your domain name, and the server also receives the technical details that come with any web request, such as the visitor’s IP address.
These are not used to track or profile individual visitors. Visitors’ reading preferences are saved only in their own browser (localStorage), and the toolbar sets no cookies. See the AbleWidget privacy policy for full details.

This plugin loads a JavaScript file from an external server when the widget is enabled:

When it is used: On every front-end page load when the widget is enabled in settings. php to check that the site’s domain is licensed.
What is transmitted: Your site’s domain name. As with any web request, the server also receives the visitor’s IP address and browser details.
